This was a landmark
event for us. Matty (aka "The MUTAYTOR")
joined forces with AZTECA, The Fabulous Monsters and INSECTO to
put on an all evening non-stop performance on the notorious Santa
Monica Blvd the night of Halloween. Even though infamous for its
parades of drag queens and freaks, we weren't sure if the boulevard
was prepared for this. Not that Matty and crew wouldn't "outweird"
the crowds, but that they just wouldn't know what to make of all
of us.
It was the first time Matty had done something of this scale and for such a long duration. It ended up being an incredible success and they made the LA Times as well as entertaining well over 270,000 people that night. |
